Help a Veteran Save a Dog Program – Casa Palm Beach

We are currently raising donations to build our first all inclusive housing community for homeless and disabled Veterans in West Palm Beach, Florida. Please see the Casa Palm Beach link to see the virtual renderings: “Casa Palm Beach. Each Veteran living at Casa Palm Beach will be given a dog we rescue from shelters across Country.

Doggie Paradise

In each housing community we build there will be a large section of land allocated for dogs that are at shelters locked in a cage waiting to die. Our goal is to bring these poor animals to paradise where they have the freedom to run around and play with other dogs. I came up with this concept one day at the dog park watching how much joy my dog had running around free playing with other dogs. Each community will have a dog trainer to help certify the dogs as service dogs for the Veterans, Americans with Disabilities such as blindness, or to people who want a trained Dog as a pet. These dogs will never see  a cage at Doggie Paradise!!!

The Veterans Living in Casa Palm Beach able to work will help the Trainers at Doggie Paradise to train the dogs to be service dogs. This will give the Veterans a sense of purpose as they work on their ailments with the professional services offered on premise.

8 Million Adults have Post Traumatic stress disorder PTSD!

Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can occur after you have been through a trauma. A trauma is a shocking and dangerous event that you see or that happens to you. During this type of event,
you think that your life or others’ lives are in danger.

It is not a sign of weakness. A number of factors can increase the chance that someone will develop PTSD, many of which are not under that person’s control. For example, if you were directly exposed to the trauma or injured, you are more likely to develop PTSD.

When you are in the military, you may see combat. You may have been on missions that exposed you to horrible and life-threatening experiences. These types of events can lead to PTSD.

Gulf War: (Desert Storm): 12 out of every 100 Gulf War Veterans (or 12%) have PTSD in a given year.

Vietnam War: 15 out of every 100 Vietnam Veterans (or 15%) PTSDwere currently diagnosed with PTSD at the time of the most recent study in the late 1980s, the National Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Study (NVVRS). It is estimated that about 30 out of every 100 (or 30%) of Vietnam Veterans have had PTSD in their lifetime.

The factors include what you do in the war, the politics around the war, where the war is fought, and the type of enemy you face. PTSD in the military can also be military sexual trauma (MST).

Casa Palm Beach will have onsite Professional Services to help our Veterans suffering from PTSD

Financial Relief to Veterans and their Families in need

The Veterans Relief Program provides financial assistance to Veterans and their families that are experiencing temporary life altering events as well as providing scholarships for higher Education.

When creating the Veterans Relief Program the biggest emphasis has been the Help a Veteran Save a Dog Program. This is the area that we believe is a life or death situation. Every day there are 20 Veterans committing suicide because they can’t cope with society.

Help Americans Inc. realizes there are 1000’s of Veterans and their Families that are functioning in society but just need a helping hand to alleviate the financial burden that is holding them down. Our Charity will create a Board of Directors that will work with the Veterans Administration and other Charities that help Veterans to administer the financial support needed.

Help Americans Inc. relies on Corporate and Private Donations to help provide the financial assistance to those Veterans and their families in need. We ask all Americans to please help us with our cause. We understand that the economy is still recovering and times are tough. Any Donation even if it is $10 will help. Think about if every Working American donated $10 what we would be able to accomplish?

Help Americans Inc. has a Grant Writer that is constantly seeking Grants and joint participation from other non profit organization to help fund this program.
